Broadbeach Alliance has just announced its updated line-up for Blues on Broadbeach for 2017! The Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival is a highlight on Queensland’s calendar of events, running from the 18th – 21st May presenting four massive days and nights of fantastic Australian and International Blues acts.
Headlining the festival is international superstar and Grammy Award Winner Bonnie Tyler followed by a list of impressive performers which includes Australian legend Ian Moss bringing his unforgettable sound after just coming off the back of a widely successful Cold Chisel Tour.
Also on the list are Slim Jim Phantom Trio from the US, Ray Beadle, Kevin Borich and Cash Savage and the Last Drinks. Newly announced additions to the line-up for 2017 include Jimi Hocking’s Blues Machine, Harts, Darren Jack Band, 19-Twenty, Louie Shelton Bluesland, Aaron West & the Custodians and Juzzie Smith who are just some of the 35 acts performing at the Festival.
Hosted in the Broadbeach CBD the festival will be ideally located amidst plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, fast food and supermarkets to suit everyone’s tastes and needs. The event itself is free entry, however there will be a free ticketed show available at Jupiters Hotel & Casino with limited entries available. Tickets for this show can be collected from Jupiters Box Office at a specified time.
The Blues on Broadbeach music festival already has thousands of people travelling from interstate and even overseas, and with the calibre of artists for this year it is expected to draw even larger crowds. Last years festival brought a $20 million boost to the Gold Coast economy and this year it is set to be even bigger.
There is plenty of accommodation around the area and public transport available for those not staying a little further out.
