Jailbreaks takes its name from the jail on the island. This wave was a no go area for years due to the security restrictions of the jail, although there are some cool rumours of the locals getting barrelled past the entrance so the guards never knew they were out there. There are no problems now and everyone is free to surf there. Jails is a fast and hollow right hander that needs the right swell. On its day however, it is as good a wave as you could wish for.
